EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

The past week has been filled with lots of studying, great time with one of my best friends, coming home to valentines day to find that my boyfriend had bought me flowers and chocolate (so sweet, but I might have hinted it a bit too much, cause that is the first time in 5 years that that happens, nevertheless I’m so grateful and I love him so much) and I’ve been on a lovely yoga retreat with Cathrine on Samsø over the weekend <3

As you might have seen on Instagram, I’ve started tongue scraping and it’s incredibly satisfying once you first begin

I’ve also tried to make my very own face cream, and it turned out really well, it’s so thick and moisturising, perfect for dry winter skin!

I spend the weekend in this beautiful place (Mellem-Rummet) at Samsø on a yoga retreat held by Cathrine, and a lot of kind and loving people. We ate lots of delicious, healthy vegan food, practiced yoga, relaxed, drank herbal teas and just had time to just be. So lovely!

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

It’s Monday and time to look back at the happy moments from the past week!

How was your past week?

green smoothie

After having returned home from holiday I’m so happy to be back to green smoothies, green teas, matcha lattes and lots of healthy food! I simply just love and enjoy filling my body with good, nourishing food!

I’ve started school again, and luckily I have some pretty interesting courses, fx one about consumer culture and buying behaviours – highly interesting

self care

I’ve been reading a loot of homeworks and had classes, but I’ve of course also found time for some relaxing self-care time. Always remember to take time to stress down and relax – otherwise you’ll run out of energy and will not be able to do any of all of the things you want to <3

I’ve also been listening to some lovely podcasts (Emma Martiny’s and Connie Chapman’s), and been reflecting and journalling

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

Hello everyone!

I’m back home from my skiing trip! And waauw, it was amazing. To be honest, I did not have high expectations that I would like to ski, because I normally hate cold weather and I can be a bit scared of high hills. But, it was such a great experience!

Me and my boyfriend’s littlebrothers girlfriend were both newbies on ski, so we was on skiing school and had a private instructor for the 2 hours the first 4 days, and we learned SO much.

I completely forgot how good it feels to throw yourself outside your comfort zone and try something new. Now we can both ski on green and blue slopes (and we also tried half a red slope!). So my view the past week has looked like what you see on the pictures, and lots of yatzy, games, warm drinks and a great time!

We were in La Rosiére in France and it was so beautiful! Almost all days (except 1) it was sunny and the most beautiful sky, and skiing down a big mountain with this view was just incredible

(Ps, for everyone going to travel by plane from Copenhagen (Kastrup) Airport, you can bring your own empty water bottle through security and then refill it in a cold tap in the toilets at gate B, the first ones you come across when going through gate B. Just a little tip to save money and some water bottles!)

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

This past week was wonderful! I finally finished my last exam, and was able to just relax and as you read this I’m in France on a skin trip with my boyfriend and his family!

This week has for sure been lovely. As mentioned, I finished my last exam at my 1st semester of my Master, I finally found a delicious green smoothie recipe and have been drinking these A LOT (you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram), I went to see the movie Wonder with my mom and cried like so many times. I can really recommend it, it was so sweet and really shows how we are all battling with our own problems, and how we should never judge a person based on how they look, or how we might think their lives are, we should instead be nice and open and try to get to know other people. I wish all school children could watch this movie!

Friday I participated in Sustain Daily’s event for their kickstarter campaign for their new Magazine Sustain Yearly, which you can support here! Saturday morning I went to the airport and travelled to France. But, even though I might be in France for the next week, I’ve still planned some blogposts which are coming up for you!

How was your past week?

Just look at this cutiepie! I already miss her (my grandparents are taking care of her while we’re away on holiday, so I know she’s being spoiled and getting lots of love <3 )

I’ve been drinking macacao (cacao with maca, it’s good and stabilises hormones!)

I’ve been journalling and reflecting

I’ve been drinking 4 green smoothies in 4 days, and I intend to continue this lovely habit once I’m back home again from my skin trip! Ps, you can find the recipe on my Instagram, or wait till tomorrow where I’ll share it here on my blog

The beautiful Sustain Yearly magazine! Ps, I might have written an article in it, so I know I’m biased, but I LOVED the 1st edition, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the 2nd issue. Go support the magazine here!

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

It’s Monday and time to reflect at some everyday happiness which I experienced the past week. I’ve had a lovely past week filled with DIY projects, great talks, and watching a documentary together with my parents and much more! How was your past week?

The past week I made a cleaning spray consisting of only water and white vinegar, easy peasy!

I also made some homemade lip balms, which you can find the recipe for right here

I’ve been planning and reflecting a lot. I know 2018 is going to be one amazing year!

I’ve been eating deliciousy healthy food! I watched What the Health once again this week, this time with my parents <3

I had the most delicious hot chocolate on coconut milk at Souls, together with the most lovely, passionated talk about so many different things together with Cirkeline <3

After a visit to Souls, we went straight across the street and visited the most beautiful little store called The Organic Club, which both sells brand with a sustainable focus and secondhand clothing – loved it, definitely worth a visit!

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

This past week has been filled with exam preparation, a cup of chai latte with Emilie, a meeting with Cathrine, work, celebration of having been together with my boyfriend for 5 years, talk and a walk with Ida, seeing my mom for a café date, been to the most lovely and touching yoga event and celebrated my dad’s birthday!
But, I don’t really have much pictures from all of the above since I’ve just been enjoying it and not taken any pictures. So, here are some pictures from my Instagram from the past week.

It’s been months since I last saw Emilie, so it was lovely to catch up again and talk about how everything is going!

I love how loose leaf tea, but to be honest this is just a picture of the loose leaf tea in my kitchen. I still have sooooo many tea bags, because I’m a bit of a tea hoarder, but I’m trying not to buy new packages (pay attention to “try”) and finish what I have and from then on only strive for loose leaf tea

I posted this picture on Instagram and asked for you guys’ advice on which shampoo bars you used, and WOW I got so many good suggestion for different shampoo bars, also a suggestion for no-poo and using morrocan clay to wash the hair with. I’ll experiment with some different ones, but I was so happy to get all the lovely advice! (If you want to read all the lovely suggestions, then you can find the picture here)

Saturday I was at a yoga event with Cathrine and Karen Pallisgaard in collaboration with Børne Hjernecancer Fonden (a Danish organisation raising money for science in brain cancer for Children). This was one of the most beautiful and touching experiences I’ve ever had. I’m a very sensitive being, but I can usually “control” myself when I’m out amongst other people, but not today. We had 1 hour of yoga with Cathrine, then 1 hour of meditation and yoga nidra with Karen and then Anette from Børne Hjernecancer Fonden ended it all with telling about how her daughter got diagnosed with a brain tumor and died, and that was the reason for why she founded this organisation. It was so touching, and I truly think it’s such a beautiful organisation she has created.

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since these everyday happiness update. Since last time I’ve written an exam, celebrated Christmas, relaxed and celebrated new years eve! Did you have a good Christmas and new years eve? And are you ready for this new year? I sure am!

I got this lovely little book about positive psychology in a Christmas present, and it is such a nice, quick and easy read, I think I want to read more of those “tænkepauser” books, such a good way to get a quick introduction to an interesting topic.

On the last day of 2017 I spend the day with 150 other people practicing yoga and setting good intentions for the next year. I was so happy to be a part of this, a big thank you to Cathrine and Carrotstick for creating this lovely event in the most beautiful setting (Brøndsalen, Frederiksberg)!

I’ve begun using my new Atelier Aarhus calendar for 2018, and I just love to fill it with great plans!

I’ve been doing a lot of relaxing and selfcare. I got a giftcard to Matas for Christmas, so I decided to try out this little cupping glass from Sard Kopenhagen, which I’ve seen Tine and Tanja recommend.

I’m so happy about how our kitchen is turning more and more zero waste and filled with beautiful glasses. Just look at this spice collection! Am I the only one loving it?

Before the new year I also bought a new plant. My boyfriend thinks our living room is turning into a minor jungle. What can I say, I just LOVE green plants!

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

It’s Monday and I feel so good! I handed in one exam last Monday, and was at another exam Friday, and now I only have 2 more left, but now there’s more time for relaxing and Christmas. I’ve had a lovely past week, how about you?

And I’m looking forward to the upcoming as well. Today I’m going to spend time with a good friend, on this week it’s also time for Christmas in Tivoli with mine and my boyfriend’s families, and I am thinking time for a lot more relaxing and being in the Christmas spirit!

I’ve been journalling and reflecting about the past year and what I have learned, and also about some of the things I want to pursue for the New Year. Ps, I’m trying to get more into the Bullet Journal thing, and Emma has made a lovely blogpost about it (Danish) if there’s others who are interested!

I received this beautiful bronzing powder as an early Christmas present from the sweet girls from Miild, and it really helps my skin to look more glowy rather than pale and white during the winter time, I love it!

I’ve been drinking matcha latte’s and snacking while preparing for the exams <3

This Sunday was oh so lovely! (Especially after 10 hours of work at Saturday). First I slept for a long time which was so lovely, then I found a winner for the competition about a giftcard to Bleschu, and I felt beyond grateful for how many wonderful people who had participated in the competition! Then I participated in a lovely workshop held by sweet Carolina, where I learned a lot about the skin. And not long after that my mom, grandma and littlesister came by with Christmas cakes (æbleskiver) and for a cup of tea <3

EVERYDAY HAPPINESS

Monday and the last week filled with everyday happiness (and a lot of exam preparations), nonetheless it was still very lovely with lots of matcha latte’s, tea, cozy indoor time, tea with my mom and Christmas coziness with my friends!

I’ve been practicing yoga at home in my living room because I just seem to be a bit too lazy to get myself outside in the cold weather…

I’ve written gratitude lists and also full moon reflections about the past years on December 3rd

I’ve used some of all my lovely natural products! I also received the most beautiful bronzing powder, from the sweet girls from Miild, as an early Christmas present – which I’m so grateful for <3

I’ve been doing some more yoga in my new Yogamii yoga clothing (which I was gifted), and I still have a discount code for you for their clothing. Use the code “Camilla15” and get 15% off on all items on Yogamii’s website.

I’ve been drinking lots of matcha latte’s and tea this week. Btw, I spilled matcha latte all over my plant after taking this photo (but I guess if it’s healthy for my, then it’s probably also good for the plant 😉 )

How was your week? And are you up to any exciting things this week?
