Monday and time to look back at some everyday happiness from the past week!

How was your past week?

Monday called for work, but I really love my work, and I love that it is something I’m able to do from wherever I am – it’s so freeing.

I’ve been adding lots of healthy fats into my everyday diet lately after recommendation from Carolina

I went to the Botanical Garden with one of my best friends to take some pictures and get some tropical feeling into our bodies while it was minus degrees and snowing outside – always a good idea!

After going out into the snow again after having been to the Botanical Gardens we went straight to get some warm drinks <3

Speaking of the Botanical Garden, my own little “Botanical Garden” is also growing at home, and I love how much my Monstera is growing

Saturday called for work and my boyfriend’s mothers birthday, and Sunday called for pure relaxation with selfcare and serie-marathon with my boyfriend. You have to watch the serie “Manhunt: Unabomber”, it’s based on true events and it is so good and fascinating!

Monday and time to look back at some everyday happiness from the past week! It’s the little things that make up our lives, so let’s try to appreciate them and be grateful for all the small things in life <3

How was your past week? 

I finally got my newly painted shelf up! So far I only have 2 plants on it, but I’m waiting for another one from my friend, and then I hope they grow long and big and hang all the way down from the shelf <3

I baked Carolina’s spelt buns, and I have also tried several different new things and changes in my diet and overall lifestyle after having a health consultation with Carolina <3

I received this beautiful “turtle bag” which I bought through Ilovegreen. I really like the concept of the turtle bag it’s made from organic natural fibres and it’s biodegradable. Turtle bags was made to protect the oceans, but as it says in the name also turtles. Many turtles mistake plastic bags in the ocean for jellyfish and eat them, and ends up getting plastic inside them and several die. That’s just so sad. Bring your own bag and ditch the plastic bags.

I’ve been fuelling myself with lots of this green smoothie! I try to drink one every single day to get lots of green and fibers in my body <3

Sunday I spent my morning in spa with my mom. I love this. A combination of taking good care of your body, relaxing and talking and spending time with my mom <3 After that we were completely relaxed and ate some lunch and then home where I pretty much fell asleep on the couch – perfect Sunday, if you ask me.

It’s Monday and that means looking back at some everyday happiness from the past week!
The past week was filled with dinner and playing “Hint” with my friends (have you tried it? It’s so much fun!), lots of studying and reading, lots of time for indoor selfcare and drinking tea while it was snowing and being reallyyyy cold outside. Café date with my mom, more reading and café coziness with my friends, work and Sunday was spent pretty much on the long side on the couch relaxing, drinking tea, eating homemade vegan cinnamon rolls (but I did also paint a shelf, which is now above my desk and is going to be filled with plants)!

How was your past week? And do you have any exciting plans for this upcoming week?

Monday evening my friends and I made dinner together (recipe by Piece of Plants), and played ‘Hint’ <3

I’ve been drinking tons of tea because of this cold, cold weather we currently have in Denmark (or, all of Europe it seems like?)

I’ve been dry brushing, as always, before a lovely shower. Best thing every – it removes dead skins cells and gets your lymphatic system going!

I still love this homemade face cream, and tongue scraping. There’s just something about small everyday rituals which makes you feel really good <3

Sunday I baked homemade vegan cinnamon rolls (recipe from Mia Sommer’s cookbook ‘Vegansk Velvære’; but I tried to make them into rolls instead of buns). I would not say that they aesthetically was so successful, but as with all other things in life – it’s what’s on the inside that counts, and they sure tasted delicious! And Sunday was also the day that Sustain Yearly ended their crowdfunding campaign, and with 35.000 DKKR extra! So amazing, can’t wait to get the magazine in April!

Monday and time to look back at some of the lovely things from the past week – everyday happiness.
I’ve been to school, studying, photographing Copenhagen with one of my best friends, relaxing and taking time for selfcare, studying with one of my other best friends, watched Atlantis with my boyfriend and been to my cousins birthday – lovely week.

How was your past week?

This week my friend and I went to a certain part of Copenhagen to take pictures and enjoy the city. It was freezing cold, but still beautiful!

I also took time to just be still, do some selfcare, drink some tea and relax. I really try my best that whenever I start to feel overwhelmed with things to do – instead of doing more, I try to take some time to relax and calm down. And once I’m calm and relaxed again I can usually handle much more and without feeling any kind of stress <3

Saturday I had a lovely study day with one of my best friends – just reading a lot, drinking chai latte, talking and eating lunch <3

Later that Saturday I came home and my boyfriend and I made some green smoothies, cuddled up on the couch with a blanket and watched the ‘Atlantis’ movie – lovely evening!

After having returned home from holiday I’m so happy to be back to green smoothies, green teas, matcha lattes and lots of healthy food! I simply just love and enjoy filling my body with good, nourishing food!

I’ve started school again, and luckily I have some pretty interesting courses, fx one about consumer culture and buying behaviours – highly interesting

self care

I’ve been reading a loot of homeworks and had classes, but I’ve of course also found time for some relaxing self-care time. Always remember to take time to stress down and relax – otherwise you’ll run out of energy and will not be able to do any of all of the things you want to <3


I’ve also been listening to some lovely podcasts (Emma Martiny’s and Connie Chapman’s), and been reflecting and journalling

Hello everyone!

I’m back home from my skiing trip! And waauw, it was amazing. To be honest, I did not have high expectations that I would like to ski, because I normally hate cold weather and I can be a bit scared of high hills. But, it was such a great experience!

Me and my boyfriend’s littlebrothers girlfriend were both newbies on ski, so we was on skiing school and had a private instructor for the 2 hours the first 4 days, and we learned SO much.

I completely forgot how good it feels to throw yourself outside your comfort zone and try something new. Now we can both ski on green and blue slopes (and we also tried half a red slope!). So my view the past week has looked like what you see on the pictures, and lots of yatzy, games, warm drinks and a great time!

We were in La Rosiére in France and it was so beautiful! Almost all days (except 1) it was sunny and the most beautiful sky, and skiing down a big mountain with this view was just incredible

(Ps, for everyone going to travel by plane from Copenhagen (Kastrup) Airport, you can bring your own empty water bottle through security and then refill it in a cold tap in the toilets at gate B, the first ones you come across when going through gate B. Just a little tip to save money and some water bottles!)

This past week was wonderful! I finally finished my last exam, and was able to just relax and as you read this I’m in France on a skin trip with my boyfriend and his family!

This week has for sure been lovely. As mentioned, I finished my last exam at my 1st semester of my Master, I finally found a delicious green smoothie recipe and have been drinking these A LOT (you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram), I went to see the movie Wonder with my mom and cried like so many times. I can really recommend it, it was so sweet and really shows how we are all battling with our own problems, and how we should never judge a person based on how they look, or how we might think their lives are, we should instead be nice and open and try to get to know other people. I wish all school children could watch this movie!

Friday I participated in Sustain Daily’s event for their kickstarter campaign for their new Magazine Sustain Yearly, which you can support here! Saturday morning I went to the airport and travelled to France. But, even though I might be in France for the next week, I’ve still planned some blogposts which are coming up for you!

How was your past week?

Just look at this cutiepie! I already miss her (my grandparents are taking care of her while we’re away on holiday, so I know she’s being spoiled and getting lots of love <3 )

It’s Monday and time to reflect at some everyday happiness which I experienced the past week. I’ve had a lovely past week filled with DIY projects, great talks, and watching a documentary together with my parents and much more! How was your past week?

The past week I made a cleaning spray consisting of only water and white vinegar, easy peasy!

I also made some homemade lip balms, which you can find the recipe for right here

I’ve been planning and reflecting a lot. I know 2018 is going to be one amazing year!

I’ve been eating deliciousy healthy food! I watched What the Health once again this week, this time with my parents <3

I had the most delicious hot chocolate on coconut milk at Souls, together with the most lovely, passionated talk about so many different things together with Cirkeline <3

After a visit to Souls, we went straight across the street and visited the most beautiful little store called The Organic Club, which both sells brand with a sustainable focus and secondhand clothing – loved it, definitely worth a visit!

I’ve already been writing down in my journal some of my reflections for the past year, but then I thought that some of these things might be interesting for you out there to follow along with as well. Here are some of the things which have had the biggest impact on my life in 2017:


Zero waste

2017 was the year that I learned about Zero Waste. I had NEVER heard about this concept, before I came across Lauren Singer from trashisfortossers on Youtube, and I fell head over heels in love with the concept and how Lauren made it look cool while at the same time doing something amazing for the planet. So, I started doing a lot of researching about this and saw a ton of youtube videos and read blogposts about this concept and started to change things in my own life.

I’ve already changed lots of things in 2017, I have changed to a menstrual cup, a shampoo bar, I’ve started to change my skincare and bodycare products for products that come in glass or steel instead of plastic, I’m still using a reusable water bottle which I’ve done for many years actually, I’m using reusable cotton bags whenever I’m buying groceries, I’ve switched to bamboo toothbrushes instead of plastic brushes and I’ve started trying to make a lot of homemade skincare products as well.

These are just some of the things which I’ve been changing, but the biggest one is just my mentality. I had honestly never thought about before how I could make a positive change in my life besides the usual advices such as”turn off the lights when you don’t use it” and “don’t shower too long”. It has encouraged me to really believe that I can make much more of a difference in my everyday life than I first thought possible, and I’ve also started to realised how I can show the world what I want to support by using my money. I’ve started doing a lot more research before buying anything new, I want the brands do be sustainable and ethical, and I especially want to support more local brands.



2017 was also the year where I learned to reach out to new people with the same interests as me. I gotta make a shoutout to Ida for making me more open towards this. Ida was the one asking me if we should grab a cup of coffee in the beginning of the new year. I gotta admit, I was kind of nervous about meeting something for the first time whom I had only been writing with on Instagram.

But this had probably been one of the most life changing things for me. Because I came to realize that it really isn’t that frightening. I mean, what is the worst that can happened? That the two of you don’t get along, well then you can just stop meeting up anymore. And wow how I’ve met some inspirering new people through Instagram and my blog. I’ve met Ida, which is now one of my very close friends. I’ve met Anna, Cathrine and Cirkeline. I’ve also met some of the girls from Sustain Daily, and become a part of Sustain Daily influencers thanks to Instagram. And I’m constantly thankful for all those commenting and messaging me on Instagram or my blog, I absolutely love connecting with like-minded people, it is truly amazing and inspirering. Thanks to all of you out there.



2017 has been one of the best years when it comes to my health both physically and mentally. I’ve learned a lot more about yoga, spirituality, ayurveda, hormones, the menstrual cycle and so much more! I’ve finally realized that the best way to be healthy is to have the connection between both the physical and the mental aspect. You will never be really healthy if all you do is eat strictly healthy, train all the time and just do things for the sake of your ‘outer appearance’ or physical health. Life is ALL about balance. It can be just as healthy for you to go on a café with your best friends, your loved one or your mom and just talk and eat a delicious cookie and drink a latte. Everything in moderation, but life is all about balance and it should not be about restricting yourself. Find out what makes you the happiest, and make sure to do these things regularly – life is made out of the small everyday things, and we should strive for bringing those small things into our lives as much as possible.
2017 was also the year I chose to stop taking birth control pills after having done a lot of research about how damaging this is to our bodies and how much it can affect our mood and our overall happiness, and I can already say after just 1 month without birth control pills that I’m feeling so much happier.


I feel unbelievably blessed for this past year and what I’ve experienced, and how my mentality has changed and for what I have learned. I want to take some days off from the blog for the rest of this year to take time to be with my family and friends (and work on some exams), and then I’m absolutely positive that I will return in the new year with lots of new content and inspiration.

I also want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you out there following along, both in here and on my Instagram, and thanks for engaging – it means the world. It’s Monday and I feel so good! I handed in one exam last Monday, and was at another exam Friday, and now I only have 2 more left, but now there’s more time for relaxing and Christmas. I’ve had a lovely past week, how about you?

And I’m looking forward to the upcoming as well. Today I’m going to spend time with a good friend, on this week it’s also time for Christmas in Tivoli with mine and my boyfriend’s families, and I am thinking time for a lot more relaxing and being in the Christmas spirit!

I’ve been journalling and reflecting about the past year and what I have learned, and also about some of the things I want to pursue for the New Year. Ps, I’m trying to get more into the Bullet Journal thing, and Emma has made a lovely blogpost about it (Danish) if there’s others who are interested!

I received this beautiful bronzing powder as an early Christmas present from the sweet girls from Miild, and it really helps my skin to look more glowy rather than pale and white during the winter time, I love it!

I’ve been drinking matcha latte’s and snacking while preparing for the exams <3


This Sunday was oh so lovely! (Especially after 10 hours of work at Saturday). First I slept for a long time which was so lovely, then I found a winner for the competition about a giftcard to Bleschu, and I felt beyond grateful for how many wonderful people who had participated in the competition! Then I participated in a lovely workshop held by sweet Carolina, where I learned a lot about the skin. And not long after that my mom, grandma and littlesister came by with Christmas cakes (æbleskiver) and for a cup of tea <3
