Monday and time to look back at some of the lovely things from the past week – everyday happiness.
I’ve been to school, studying, photographing Copenhagen with one of my best friends, relaxing and taking time for selfcare, studying with one of my other best friends, watched Atlantis with my boyfriend and been to my cousins birthday – lovely week.

How was your past week?

This week my friend and I went to a certain part of Copenhagen to take pictures and enjoy the city. It was freezing cold, but still beautiful!

I also took time to just be still, do some selfcare, drink some tea and relax. I really try my best that whenever I start to feel overwhelmed with things to do – instead of doing more, I try to take some time to relax and calm down. And once I’m calm and relaxed again I can usually handle much more and without feeling any kind of stress <3

Saturday I had a lovely study day with one of my best friends – just reading a lot, drinking chai latte, talking and eating lunch <3

Later that Saturday I came home and my boyfriend and I made some green smoothies, cuddled up on the couch with a blanket and watched the ‘Atlantis’ movie – lovely evening!

The past week has been filled with lots of studying, great time with one of my best friends, coming home to valentines day to find that my boyfriend had bought me flowers and chocolate (so sweet, but I might have hinted it a bit too much, cause that is the first time in 5 years that that happens, nevertheless I’m so grateful and I love him so much) and I’ve been on a lovely yoga retreat with Cathrine on Samsø over the weekend <3

As you might have seen on Instagram, I’ve started tongue scraping and it’s incredibly satisfying once you first begin

I’ve also tried to make my very own face cream, and it turned out really well, it’s so thick and moisturising, perfect for dry winter skin!

I spend the weekend in this beautiful place (Mellem-Rummet) at Samsø on a yoga retreat held by Cathrine, and a lot of kind and loving people. We ate lots of delicious, healthy vegan food, practiced yoga, relaxed, drank herbal teas and just had time to just be. So lovely!

This past week was wonderful! I finally finished my last exam, and was able to just relax and as you read this I’m in France on a skin trip with my boyfriend and his family!

This week has for sure been lovely. As mentioned, I finished my last exam at my 1st semester of my Master, I finally found a delicious green smoothie recipe and have been drinking these A LOT (you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram), I went to see the movie Wonder with my mom and cried like so many times. I can really recommend it, it was so sweet and really shows how we are all battling with our own problems, and how we should never judge a person based on how they look, or how we might think their lives are, we should instead be nice and open and try to get to know other people. I wish all school children could watch this movie!

Friday I participated in Sustain Daily’s event for their kickstarter campaign for their new Magazine Sustain Yearly, which you can support here! Saturday morning I went to the airport and travelled to France. But, even though I might be in France for the next week, I’ve still planned some blogposts which are coming up for you!

How was your past week?

Just look at this cutiepie! I already miss her (my grandparents are taking care of her while we’re away on holiday, so I know she’s being spoiled and getting lots of love <3 )

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since these everyday happiness update. Since last time I’ve written an exam, celebrated Christmas, relaxed and celebrated new years eve! Did you have a good Christmas and new years eve? And are you ready for this new year? I sure am!

I got this lovely little book about positive psychology in a Christmas present, and it is such a nice, quick and easy read, I think I want to read more of those “tænkepauser” books, such a good way to get a quick introduction to an interesting topic.

On the last day of 2017 I spend the day with 150 other people practicing yoga and setting good intentions for the next year. I was so happy to be a part of this, a big thank you to Cathrine and Carrotstick for creating this lovely event in the most beautiful setting (Brøndsalen, Frederiksberg)!

I’ve begun using my new Atelier Aarhus calendar for 2018, and I just love to fill it with great plans!

I’ve been doing a lot of relaxing and selfcare. I got a giftcard to Matas for Christmas, so I decided to try out this little cupping glass from Sard Kopenhagen, which I’ve seen Tine and Tanja recommend.

I’m so happy about how our kitchen is turning more and more zero waste and filled with beautiful glasses. Just look at this spice collection! Am I the only one loving it?

Before the new year I also bought a new plant. My boyfriend thinks our living room is turning into a minor jungle. What can I say, I just LOVE green plants!

It’s Monday and I feel so good! I handed in one exam last Monday, and was at another exam Friday, and now I only have 2 more left, but now there’s more time for relaxing and Christmas. I’ve had a lovely past week, how about you?

And I’m looking forward to the upcoming as well. Today I’m going to spend time with a good friend, on this week it’s also time for Christmas in Tivoli with mine and my boyfriend’s families, and I am thinking time for a lot more relaxing and being in the Christmas spirit!

I’ve been journalling and reflecting about the past year and what I have learned, and also about some of the things I want to pursue for the New Year. Ps, I’m trying to get more into the Bullet Journal thing, and Emma has made a lovely blogpost about it (Danish) if there’s others who are interested!

I received this beautiful bronzing powder as an early Christmas present from the sweet girls from Miild, and it really helps my skin to look more glowy rather than pale and white during the winter time, I love it!

I’ve been drinking matcha latte’s and snacking while preparing for the exams <3


This Sunday was oh so lovely! (Especially after 10 hours of work at Saturday). First I slept for a long time which was so lovely, then I found a winner for the competition about a giftcard to Bleschu, and I felt beyond grateful for how many wonderful people who had participated in the competition! Then I participated in a lovely workshop held by sweet Carolina, where I learned a lot about the skin. And not long after that my mom, grandma and littlesister came by with Christmas cakes (æbleskiver) and for a cup of tea <3

It’s Monday and time to look back at the past week which consisted of a lot of homeworks and exam preparation, but also time to relax and drink lots of tea and matcha latte’s!

Last week I wrote a blog post about Apple Cider Vinegar hair rinse to make the transition period from conventional shampoo to shampoo bar easier – and I’m still loving how soft my hair gets after I use it in the shower!

Speaking of Apple Cider Vinegar, I’ve also tried to make my own ACV toner for my face which I’m currently using every evening and I really like it so far – update will come later!

I’ve started to look more into Bullet Journals and writing down and tracking lots of things, if you have a good bullet journal ‘theme’, then please share it with me!

This is how I’ve spend most of my days the past week – cozy socks and matcha latte and reading homeworks!

I visited LØS market to stuck up on a few things, and don’t “zero waste” grocery shopping just look amazing? I’m completely in love with it!

I’ve also been eating hella-healthy the past week, after having been so inspired by the book WomanCode which I’m currently reading. I’m feeling amazing after having followed some of the flo-living guidelines in the book (fx keeping your blood sugar stable by eating regularly), and I’ve been so inspired that my lunch and dinner have looked like the above plate for most of the past few days!

Monday and that means time to look back at some of all the everyday happiness I’ve found in the past week!

I’ve been so grateful for my and my boyfriend’s apartment – it is truly a lovely place and just HOME, I love it <3

I’ve started using a shampoo bar, and if you’ve been following along in here, you also know that I was just about to quit it after having tried it the first time – read more about that right here!

I’ve been drinking matcha lattes with sweet Cirkeline at the most lovely café in Copenhagen called Yellow Rose which has a vegetarian/vegan menu <3

and I have of course been drinking ton of tea as always, especially nettle and rooibos tea these days are my absolute favourite!

In the weekend I was half a day at work at Saturday and then directly home to my parents and littlesister, to celebrate my sister’s birthday. And on Sunday it was time for work all day again.

Jeg har læst lektier, masser af lektier – uni er startet igen for real

På grund af overstående grund, har jeg desværre heller ikke været så meget ude da jeg har siddet indendøre og læst lektier – men jeg fik set en smuk himmel denne dag!

/Due to the above reason I’ve unfortunately not had much time to spend time outside since I’ve been inside reading homeworks – but I did get to see this beautiful sky!

Som i kan se har jeg drukket masser af matcha latte’s og spist lækkert chokolade* mhmmm…

/As you can see I’ve been drinking lots of matcha latte’s and eaten delicious chocolate* mhmm…

Jeg har spist masser af skøn og sund mad, det er virkelig noget af det bedste jeg ved, at fylde min krop med sunde sager!

/I’ve eaten a lot of delicious and healthy food, that is really one of the best things I know of, to fill my body with healthy stuff!

I sidste uge delte jeg også et indlæg med at huske at tage sig tid til sig selv og de ting der gør en glad. Det er jo altid relevant 😉

Jeg har købt mig en ny yogamåtte, som jeg kan have med mig på farten når jeg skal til yoga timer eller med til Cathrine’s yoga events! Den er 100 % miljøvenlig og økologisk – og så er den bare sindssygt flot, hvis du spørger mig. Du kan finde den lige her.

Jeg har fundet en god opskrift på matcha latte’s, så dem har jeg drukket sindssygt mange af i den sidste uges tid!

/I’ve found a delicious recipe for matcha latte’s, so I’ve been drinking a ton of these for the past week!

Kål proppes på alt for tiden hjemme hos mig – fantastisk måde at få sneget masser af grønt ind!

/I pour kale over everything these days – an amazing way to sneak a lot of greens in!

Jeg har købt den fineste nye notesbog som er lavet af 100 % genbrugt papir, så sejt! Jeg fandt min i en Arnold Busck, men du kan også finde den i fineste GåGrøn.

/I’ve bought the prettiest new notebook made from 100 % recycled paper, so cool! I found mine in a book shop, Arnold Busck, but you can also find it in the lovely store called GåGrøn.

Sødeste Ida kom forbi til en kop gurkemeje latte, snak og en gåtur i regnvejret <3

Dette fine tæppe fik jeg i fødselsdagsgave, og det har jeg hygget med sammen med en masse kopper te og bachelor skrivning

Min kæreste og jeg købte en kææææmpe bakke jordbær

/ My boyfriend and I bought a giaaaant basket of strawberries

Og de jordbær blev brugt på en lækker jordbær-banan smoothie, efter min kæreste og jeg havde været ude på en skøn cykeltur i solskinsvejret om søndagen!

/ And those strawberries were used for a delicious strawberry-banana smoothie, after my boyfriend and I had been out on a lovely bike ride in the sunshine on Sunday!
