The Importance of Drinking Water

Lige en lille reminder, husk at drikke vand! Og gerne rigtig meget af det hver evig eneste dag. Hvorfor? Jo, vores kroppe består af ca. 50-60 % vand. Vi har altså behov for vand, ellers bliver vi dehydrerede. Når vi ikke får nok vand, betyder det også at vores fordøjelse bliver værre, og at vi ikke får transporteret de vigtige næringsstoffer ud til alle cellerne i vores krop. Vores krop virker altså ikke optimalt. Derfor er det at det er så vigtigt at drikke rigeligt med vand hver dag! Jeg drikker op imod 2-3 liter hver dag, specielt på varme dage.

Hvis du synes det er kedeligt at drikke vand, så prøv at overvej hvor stor en konsekvens det har for din hud, din krop og dit overordnede helbred, hvis du ikke gør det. Prøv at se på vand, som værende noget (ganske gratis, du kan bare tage det fra hanen, i hvert fald her i Danmark) der er med til at gøre dig sundere og smukkere, og så tror jeg at du vil begynde at sætte endnu mere pris på vands betydning for dit helbred.

Just a little reminder, remember to drink water! And plenty of it every single day. Why? Because our bodies consist of around 50-60 % water. We need water, else we will be dehydrated. When we don’t get enough water, this means that our digestion gets worse, and that we do not get all the essential nutrients transported out to our cells in our body. Our body simply don’t work optimal enough. Therefore it is highly important to drink plenty of water every single day! I drink around 2-3 liters of water every day, especially on hots days. 

If you find it too boring to drink water, then just try to think about what a big consequence it will have for your skin, your body and your overall health, if you do not drink it. Try looking at water as something that helps make you healthier and more beautiful, and then I think you will begin appreciating the importance of water for your health.
